I must say how wonderful is my job really!!? I get to bring to life gorgeous florals for amazing and beautiful brides.
Recently I headed up to Brisbane for a Wedding at Chapel Hill to design florals for an engagement slash Surprise Wedding!
We loaded up the car, filling it to the brim with loose flowers and greenery.
The Bride and I had discussed concepts, flowers, colors and the type of atmosphere that was being aimed for.
The only thing I actually took pre made was the Bridal bouquet and the Head piece, everything else was created on site, designed to work with the space and the vibe of the day that was unfolding.

Flowers were the most important thing to me at my wedding. Which was why I was so thrilled and honoured to have had the genius that is Julia Rose create my flowers. We had such a great time discussing concepts and colours and textures and she understood what I was after right from the beginning. We wanted bright and vivid flowers that were artistically sculptured almost – most unlike what you usually encounter on the menu in the usual wedding florists. Using organic found greenery and twigs she created the most beautiful displays and I was speechless. Julia Rose was so generous with her time, talent and spirit, she really is a very special lady and we will always be grateful nor speak more highly of her. Thank you Julia Rose!
