Internationally renowned Botanical Artist Julia-Rose is set to appear at the Gold Coast’s largest gardening expo, the Botanical Bazaar on Sunday, 3 September.
Having blossomed as a celebrated floral artist with an international reputation for her sumptuous organic and naturally eclectic designs, her work has been featured in national and international campaigns, catwalks and fashion magazines. In addition to being selected to open the International Fashion Week, Julia-Rose also designs gowns, archways and botanical artworks for red carpet VIP and celebrity events.
Showcasing her signature collection that has featured in galleries, online and in print, ‘Roseicapilla’, Julia-Rose will also be conducting two floral workshops, Wreath Making and Offset Design in Ceramic Vessel. These workshops are limited to a maximum of 35 people and will see those lucky enough to get a spot create some of their own spectacular and quirky pieces.
Captivating the crowds, Julia-Rose will have models walking through the event wearing botanically wild pieces collected from foliage at Tropical Fruit World and local native grower Nightjar Ridge Natives.
The Botanical Bazaar will be blooming in its new 13-hectare home at the Country Paradise Parklands in Nerang. With popular celebrity gardeners, more than 80 green inspired exhibitors, interactive workshops, kid’s activities, backyard critters, plus food and entertainment, this year’s Bazaar will be greener than ever!
